Happy as a June Bug

Last weekend Will and I traveled to Charleston, SC to visit my grandmother, Nonnie.  It was a very special visit.  Will is Nonnie's first great-grandchild so we were especially excited for them to meet.  My dad joined us too so there were four generations under one roof.  That doesn't happen very often.

Will proved to be a great traveler (again) even with a 5+ hour delay on the way home.  We enjoyed the 75 degree temps, wandered around downtown, spent an afternoon with my Uncle Steve and Aunt Janet, and put a lot of smiles on the faces of the residents at Bishop Gadsden (Nonnie's retirement community).  Nonnie and Will really enjoyed each others company.  Will had this special grin for Nonnie which had her saying "Well, he's just as happy as a june bug" and he was.  Who could blame him?  He had the full attention of a five foot, petite, bright eyed, well dressed little woman with the finest southern accent I've ever heard.
