Cherry Blossoms
Our good friend, Lee Hansen, came to visit the weekend before last. In between watching NCAA basketball games we made a trip into DC to check out the Cherry Blossoms and show Lee the city. It was cold that weekend (cold for DC, not Wisconsin) so we didn't stay for too long, but we did walk the National Mall and catch a glimpse of the beautiful trees in bloom. The blossoms were not at their peak which is why they are more white than pink, but it was still worth the trip. I hope we'll go see them every year and that the family picture in front of the Cherry Blossoms will become some what of a tradition. Happy Spring!
